I have connected my Xbox HD-DVD player to my Mac & successfully managed to copy all of my HD-DVD's to my make, so I can watch them via Apple TV, all being 2 of them.
I am using MakeMKV, then using Handbrake to convert them to .MP4 file.

However, on the 2 discs I cannot copy across, I get an error message in MakeMKV saying:

Failed To Open Disc.

Now these 2 HD-DVD's are fine, no scratches on them & play perfectly fine when my HD-DVD player is attached to my Xbox.

Is there any way I can resolve this issue, or is there any other software that I can use to copy HD-DVD's to my Mac?

Probably copy protection prevention. Also, I suggest you read our Sticky Notice at the top of this forum regarding Blue Ray and DVD ripping.
