Hi,

I recently downloaded WMP 9 to watch video clips online on my new mac. Having preciously been a PC user, I never had any problems with video. However, after downloading WMP onto my mac, I am still unable to watch anything (mtv.com, msnbc.com, any music videos, etc.). What is the problem here?? The problem before was I didn't have the MIME plug-in on my mac, but I figured WMP would solve that problem. Please help me. Thanks.

MTV.com and MSNBC have decided not to support the Mac. There isn't a work around. My suggestion is to not use those sites and send them feedback telling them why.

There are lots of alternatives. CNN and ABCNews.com both offer free video that works with the Mac.

Thanks for your response Schweb. Is there any point to having WMP? Will it do me any good to keep it on my computer?
