NEED URGENT HELP! Problem with project due in one day!

**I know it's a long description but please read it if you can give some insight!**

I have a video project that I have been making on iMovie 09 due for class in one day from now and I had everything all done and came back to it today to export it and encountered a few problems. First, the majority of my imported audio files had been moved from their original source and now iMovie cannot locate them (the little yellow triangle with the exclamation point appears on the files). I realize my mistake and I was okay with replacing them as well as the background music. But then I found a new problem. When I imported new audio files, I found I couldn't edit the volume of them. I would experiment by placing the slider all the way to zero, but that didn't change the volume at all (even though it should be muted). The newly imported tracks are now too loud and I cannot hear the visual clips' dialogue. This project is due right away and I am extremely frustrated and I deeply thank any help I can get.
