Hi. I have been using Avidemux2 to view AVI video as I have not been able to view them in Quicktime or in iMovie. Is there a way to convert AVI files so they can be viewed in Quicktime or better yet move them into iMovie so you can edit the files in iMovie?
QUOTE Thanks

Hi...This may help you

You often face in watching YouTube videos offline is that these files are available in flash video format which is not compatible with many popular media players. Therefore, in order to make these videos compatible for any player you may take the help of software which can be easily found on the internet. This software enables you to convert YouTube videos to mp3 format. There are several websites available on the internet which provides this application for free. With the help of these applications you can easily download and convert YouTube video at the same time. This may enable you to share as well as watch your favorite YouTube videos anywhere and anytime you want.

There is a very simple procedure you need to follow in order to convert you favorite videos to mp3 format. You need to copy the location of the video you want to convert. Then you have to select the format in which you want to convert the video from the list of options available. For example, if you want to convert the FLV file to MP3 format then you may select the option of mp3 and have to press the option of “convert video”. It will take some time to convert the video to mp3 format depending on the size of the file. Moreover, you may convert your favorite YouTube video to mp3 even before downloading the file on your computer. With the help of these applications you may convert videos directly from the website.
