Hey guys,

Im having a problem with IMovie and I've seen people with the same problem all over the internet but no one can offer a step-by-step process for how to solve it. When I try to upload a movie I made on IMovie to Youtube, there is an error message that reads: "The project could not be prepared for publishing because an error occurred. (Error in user parameter list)" I have looked at different advice that people offered and one of them seemed to work. I split the video in two and I was able to successfully upload the second video, however, I still cannot upload the first one. The first half of the video has pictures and music, could that possibly have contributed to it?

Any advice or wisdom you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated since this is for a project.

Thanks!!

Are you trying to upload direct from iMovie? Try Share>Export Movie, and then upload to YouTube via the website.

Another couple of possibilities:

1. Is the music you are using copyrighted or DRM'd? That could be the issue. That is of course not legal.

2. How full is your boot drive? iMovie needs LOTS of temporary space for converting videos.
