Hi
Between QuickTime Player, VLC, and iTunes, which app would give the better picture quality from a movie, or is that a fair question to ask? What video formats does iTunes except by default? Thanks. Last edited by musicmad; 03-21-2012 at 04:57 PM. |

Out of the box VLC handles pretty much every video format. With Perian installed Quicktime can handle most of the common ones too. As for quality. I've never noticed much if any difference in the playback quality between Quicktime and VLC. The quality of the video file has far greater bearing. As for adding video to iTunes, it supports ".mov", ".m4v", or ".mp4" External hard disk acquisition addict - but admitting the problem is the first step to a robust backup Please use the reputation system if you think you've been helped - top right of this post |
