Want to load iDVD 08 onto latest iMac

I want to purchase iLife 08 software for my iMac purchased November 2011. Will it allow me to access all the older themes that come with that version. Thanks.

Yes. If you buy the iLife 08 DVD, you'll have access to all the applications and themes that are part of the suite.
