Hi,

Is there a way for me to record programs I have on Sky Plus box to my Macbook Pro ?

At the moment, i have to record the program from Sky plus box to my DVR, then burn it onto a disk, and then convert that using a program on my PC, then copy onto my Mac.

A complex and time consuming method.

What I am wondering is whether there is an eaiser way ?

Thanks

Kevin

The Sky+ box is specifically designed to keep it's content contained. The only way out is the analogue connection you're making to your DVR.

The only alternative for you is to get a Mac compatible capture card. Elgato do a range. Some dedicated capture, some hybrid TV tuner/capture.

External hard disk acquisition addict - but admitting the problem is the first step to a robust backup
