HDMI to TV with Audio...

Hi ...
I am playing content from my MBP through a VGA adaptor to HDMI to my
HDMI input on my TV but the audio is only coming out of my MBP not my TV speakers...

Can anyone tell me is there a fix for this please ?

Mac Specs: PPC Mini, 10.4.11. Intel Mini, 10.6.8. White MacBook, 10.6.8. iPhone 3GS.

The simple answer is a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack audio lead from your MacBooks headphone socket to the audio in socket that most TVs have these days.

I am playing content from my MBP 2009 on my TV via VGA to HDMI but sound is laptop only ...Not sso good....Tried 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable but tv has not got a 3.5mm headphone input....

7 year old Samsunng Plasma TV.....

Is there another cable i can try to get sound from MBP to TV ??
