Now since FrontRow will be out next week, the wait for an iMac gets even more unbearable, and, being a windows user, i wanted to know some things about video in QT.
Since FrontRow will use QT, i wondered, can I play all my DivX, Xvid and MPG in QT? How is the codec situation out there? I wonder if I can use Frontrow with another player than QT, thoug improbable. And I also wonder if I can let FrontRow list my DVD-Rips of The O.C. in TV-Shows rather than Movies, because I fear that only itunes store-bought files will be listed there. Should this whole video thing eb a peach? Or is viewing diefferent files in QT a pain? |

You can download codecs for DivX, xvid, and most others from MacUpdate and you'll have no problem.
As for your other question, I have no idea how that will work since Front Row is not released yet. schweb | community leader flickr » facebook » twitter » tumblr » google+ » about.me Mac-Forums: On Twitter | On Facebook | On Flickr
