Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone here could tell me how I might go about setting multiple bookmarks in quicktime for .mov's and .mp4's. Meaning for example I have an hour long video, I want to set quick bookmarks for 15 minutes in, 30 minutes in, 45 minutes in, etc. so I can quickly jump from one time to the next.

Any Suggestions???

These are called "chapter" marks for video and you set them in iDVD or iMovie if you're using that.

The older "QuickTime Pro" had a way to make chapter markers in a file, I don't believe QuickTime X can do this (though it does "honor" existing chapter markers). There are probably also third-party programs to do this, but I have no experience with it, sorry.

Thanks Chas, any chance you know the specifics of how to add chapters with iDVD?

Does anyone else know of any possible plug-ins for quicktime or any third party programs that could do this?
