Hey guys,
this is what i am trying to do, i have a mac, running on osx lion, and i really need a way to convert my .mkv files so that i can burn them to a DVD and play on any DVD player....how do i do this? Please help me out here, i would really love the help I would like either programs or instructions on how to do so, i have toast titanium 10 and VLC....i just want to put my .mkv's onto a DVD so i can watch them on my tv thanks all FlabioToyBoy |

I am not sure if it is compatible with Lion, but older versions of Handbrake are possibly your best bet, pre version 0.9.5., as the newer version only outputs to mpeg4.
Failing that you can use ffmpegx, again if compatible with Lion (both should be to be fair, Lion isn't a massive upgrade to the core OS). Bear in mind results will not look as good as the MKV, but use high quality settings and have patience (it will be slow) and you should be ok.
