There are two packages that I know of that will work with that device -
Elgato's eyeTV software (see: What is EyeTV ) and steventoth.net » HDPVR Capture I have not used Elgato's eyeTV, but I had used HDPVR capture with the HD PVR connected to a Mac Mini and it worked for me. It did require a minimum firmware level installed on the device prior to use as I recall - which I believe can only be handled through Windows (it's been a long time since I've messed with mine - right now just sits on top of my sat receiver) My Macs: 2012 Non-Retina 15" MBP; Mac mini G4, 1.25 GHz, 512m ram (server); Late 2011 11" MBA, 1.8GHz i7, 4Gig Ram, 256Gig SSD, HD3000; Powerbook 12" G4 1.33GHz running Debian as a server; Apple TV (1080p version) |
