What you are saying is you would like to move the trailer into another project and have it play before the video already in that project?

1. Save trailer as a movie.
2. Make other project.
3. You can either import the first movie as footage and put it at the beginning of your new project, or you can add both movies to iDVD (if your goal is to burn a DVD) and make the "trailer movie" the first selection and your second project the second selection.
