This may be, well, a dumb questions

I am new to i-movie and have a project due on Tuesday.

I have a 22 minute video of a person doing a presintation. The video is pretty much the person talking. I need to edit it to 4 minutes. Is there a way I can get the voice presintation to text so I can edit that first?

Can anyone provide me any ideas on how to edit a boring 22 minute of a person talking for the same lenght of time?

Thanks

Listen to the video, decide what you want to cut, and then rermove it. Mind you if you edit a 22 minute video of someone talking down to just 4 minutes, it's pretty much going to loose it's meaning.
