Howdy all,
I have a bunch of video lectures that I would like to put on my iPhone to listen while in the car and at work. I have all ready ripped the DVDs using Mac the Ripper and ran them through Handbrake. I have the videos, but they eat up too much space and I won't be able to watch them -- just listen to the audio. So, how do I go about getting only audio? Preferably a free method, but I guess any answer would be outstanding! PS I am new here, but have lurked around the forums for a while. I'm glad to be here! ~ Fil |

You didn't say, but I'm going to assume you mean that you now have a series of MP4-format video files?
If so, you can open them in almost any video-supporting program and "save as" just an audio file. Quicktime 7 Pro (which you may have) will do this, as well as MPEG Streamclip (free). Here's how it would look in MPEG Streamclip:
