Forum newbie here. Does anyone have experience with importing footage from a Samsung HMX-Q10 into iMove 11? I'm thinking of upgrading from a 10-year old mini-DV to tapeless camcorder. The Samsung uses format H.264 . I edit mostly my own travel and vacation videos.

I have iMovie 9.0.2 and an iMac with 3.06 Ghz Core 2 Duo with 4 GB memory.

The HMX-Q10 looks like exactly what I need.

Thanks for any info you might have.
