Dvd+r question help

i have a mpg file that im putting onto a disk. the blank dvd is 4.7 gb and 120 minutes. the movie i have is 2.2 gb but 137 minutes.

So what would happen i tried to put that movie onto that disk?

What do you mean? You will have a dvd with 2.2GB of space taken up by an MPG file. The run time does not affect the actual burning on to a disc, it's the size of file that counts.
