Video converter recommendation for non intel based mac?

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good video converter? I'm looking to convert .vob to .mov files. I don't have an intel based mac and I'm pulling my hair out with all the so called "free" downloads. I'm not opposed to buying a download just want some help to find a good user friendly one.

ffmpegx will do all you need, and with decent quality too.
Not pretty to look at but not bad either. It works.

Is Toast Intel only? I would have thought not.

If you're looking for the least hassle possible, I'd suggest you investigate if Toast will meet your needs. I hate the company, but I love the product.

MPEGStreamclip will do what you want.
