Multi-video player?

Hi hi.
It's my first time posting, but have been a long time lurker looking up mac advice.

Long story short, I've been looking for a media player with a multi-video output as showcased by the program "msv".
It seems that they only have these available for windows.

Or I've heard about using vlc to achieve this, but not to msv's extent.
I'm starting out in video editing, and this would be a great help.

Any ideas?

I'm a little confused by your post. You say you're doing video EDITING, but first you say you want something that does "multi-video output."

So which is it?
