Hi,

Does anyone know how to get DTS audio to play in quicktime,
i have a file that plays DTS through VLC, but my amp doesn't recognise it when played through quicktime.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Assuming you're connecting your receiver through optical, you can try this:

Record and Reverie Blog Archive The Correct Way to Enable AC3 Passthrough with Quicktime

I can't say it will work with QuicktimeX but it will work with Quicktime 7 that you can install from your OS dvd if you don't already have it installed.
