I really hope someone on here can help me.
I've just got a Flip Cam and am having trouble with FCE exporting and uploading to Youtube.
When I copy the MP4 from the Flip Cam to my desktop it has no borders and is widescreen when it playing in Quicktime.
I then import this into FCE and then it gains a letterbox. I guess as FCE is displaying in 4:3
Upon exporting it retains the letterbox.
Can someone please help me to preserve my sanity and tell me how I can export my FCE movie so that;
a) It displays in widescreen [as it was shot] and
b) It fills the whole frame in Youtube [no letterbox/borders].
I have tried and failed so many times today to get this right.
Help a newbie please
