A friend told me he would put a dvd in his mac then stream it to his ipod Touch via wireless to watch in bed. I didn't delve any further but it seemed pretty cool. Now I have a new imac, how would I go about doing this?
Any extra software needed? I have a wireless hub up and running. |

You can use AirVideo. The lite version allows you to view 3 videos at a time. You would have to have your Mac on though.
Or Pogoplpug. You would have to buy a pogoplug for $120 and download the app but it would allow you to convert an external HD into a server of sorts. The beauty of using the pogoplug is you wouldn't have to leave your computer on. I have and use both and both work great. |
