Using both HD and DV clips in imovie??
I am using OSX 10.4.11 with imovie 5.0.2 which is the HD version so will accept High Definition clips. My question is can i use both HD and DV clips in the same movie without any modification of the clips? Are the differences more than simply the size of the image?

I don't have that version to play with. I suspect what might happen is that if your project is set to HD, from when you create it, that SD material may be up rez'd upon import. You'll have to try it.

To see what happened to the imported file, open the project via the Finder by right clicking on it and choosing 'Show Package Contents'. You'll find your import in the 'Media' folder.
CameraTime - Time lapse photography for novice and advanced users.

When asking questions, post the version of your software. You'll receive better answers.

Please post your results to the thread as it is good feedback.
