Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I am digitizing an archive of tapes. I have the camcorder plugged into a MacBook via 6-4 firewire. When I import (manually or automatically, doesn't seem to make a difference), the tape plays through and says it's importing the whole time (about 30 mins), the program rewinds the tape and renders the movie, it tells me I've recorded about 30 mins, then when I go back to the project screen, it's either recorded 1m25s or 42s.

I'm a newbie to iMovie and this process in general so I'm probably missing something obvious. I've had problems with 2 tapes but one has recorded without problem.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.
QUOTE Thanks
