Final Cut Pro 6 Tool Palette Is Missing

My Final Cut Pro tool palette is missing. This is a new install of FCP 6 on a Macbook Pro, 2.4Ghz, 4 GB Ram. The Tool Palette line is checked under the Window menu item. I have moved things around on the screen to make sure the palette was not was hiding underneath one of the windows (it isn't). Nothing in the manual or an Internet search has provided me with a fix. I could just reload FCP again and see if that restores the tool palette but that takes several hours (which I do not have). Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Through another Internet search I found this fix; it worked for me!

Go to Window>arrange and click on Standard. Or trash your prefs, either should get it back.
