Err. How big are the files? A CD holds about 700MB (unless you buy 800 discs), a DVD 4.7 GB. There's your answer.

erm.. 339.5 mb on disc and 355,968,593 bytes if thats any help to you!

Well you can only get 2 episodes on a CD in the current format.
If you want all 6 you'll need to compress them down using something like Handbrake, but they will be so small the quality will be rubbish.
Burn them to a DVD and you'll get all 6 on, and if you burn as a data disc your Mac will read them for playback, and so will many DVD players.

I have a feeling the OP wants to burn the episodes to a DVD for playback on a regular DVD player in which the length of the episode and the amount of compression selected for the mpeg2 encoding would be what the OP needs to consider.

In terms of whether a DVD player would play back the individual files as they are without making an official video-dvd will depend on the DVD player itself as well as what container / codec the files are in (ie: some DVD players that will play back files on a DVD may accept AVI files that use DiVX).

Yea, it's a little vague at the moment, we need more info.
