My friend lent me the regestration key and discs a while ago for final cut on my laptop. Well now we have a imac7 and I was wondering if there is a way to get final cut off of my current computer and onto my new one. And I dont have the old discs my friend gave me, just the regestration info

In short, no. Honestly speaking, even if there was a way, it wouldn't/couldn't be discussed here.

What your friend did violated licensing agreements with Apple which goes against forum policies to be discussed.

My Macs: Late 2013 rMBP w/ 750m; Mac mini G4, 1.25 GHz, 512m ram (server); Late 2011 11" MBA, 1.8GHz i7, 4Gig Ram, 256Gig SSD, HD3000; Powerbook 12" G4 1.33GHz running Debian as a server; Apple TV (1080p version)
