When I hit play in my timeline in FCP 4, I used to be able to see it in the Canvas window. Now all of a sudden when I hit play, the Canvas just shows up white and doesn't show my clip. Is there a setting I need to change to have it play in the Canvas window? I've done view clip in new window, but that's not the same as watching your timeline in the Canvas.
QUOTE Thanks

This can happen if you manually resize the canvas. In the left pulldown menu of the canvas window, choose "fit to fill" and see if that takes care of things.
