Heey,

I 've got a problem with Quicktime. I deleted it a few days ago (just by deleting the icon in applications and the folder in system). But now I want it back (I know I'm stupid). But when I want to download Quicktime it says that he can't install it because there's already Quicktime X installed, but I don't find this?

(and how do you delete applications on a mac, just by putting it in the trash?)
QUOTE Thanks

My best guess, you're going to have to reinstall Snow Leopard since you've gone into the System folder.

If the app was a drag and drop to the Applications folder, then you'll drag and drop it to the trash.

If the app had it's own installer, usually only apps that make changes to system files, then you should run it's uninstaller.

EDIT:
and now I wanted to update my software and he was busy until he said he couldn't do it and then it was done..)
Don't have a clue what that even means.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
QUOTE Thanks
