A friend recorded video of me at a horse show this past weekend. There are some short clips that I'd like to grab as pictures, but I can't seem to do that either in iPhoto or in iMovie.
I know I've done this in the past with windows software, but I can't figure out how to work it on my new Mac! Am I being daft, or what??

well you could pause the video where you want to take the picture and press and hold command + shift + 4 then crop out the video and a picture should show up on your desktop.
