Unexpected error encoding and burning avi file in toast titanium 6.1

I am having a prob when I try to burn a M1 file in Toast Titanium 6.1. 3/4's of the way through the encoding process, Toast quits, saying that it experienced an unexpected error and is shutting down(the program). This happens ever since my upgrade to Tiger. The M1 extention, I'm assuming, is a .mov extension(i'm guessing, fairly new to this stuff). I ran the original AVI through divx doctor so that I could burn the M1 or .mov file in toast to DVD. Have made many discs in the passed this way with complete success. Have upgraded to newest version of Toast, Divx Dr., repaired permissions. I have tried different avi files with the same results. It's almost as if it "times out" 3/4's of the way through the process, and I get the unexpectant error message and the option to send a report to Apple. Any Ideas, as this is very frustrating!!
