How do I control the speed of the otherwise great effect "far far away"?

Hi guys,

Put the superb effect far far away at the start of my video on a stared background and it looks superb.

Problem is you cannot read it as its that fast. I cant find a speed control anywhere.

I have realised that the longer the clip the slower but I have to have my clip running 40 seconds for 4 simple paragraphs to slow it down.

Worse, for the last 5/10 seconds the text just goes on forever getting smaller where I could really do with stopping the effect when I want it too.
IE even if you make the effect last 40 seconds you still only get 30 seconds of readable text before its far too far away to be able to read. (well named)

ANyone help out here. Seems a waste of an otherwise great effect.
