Hi guys!
I want to export a quicktime .dv movie but retain the best audio and video quality for people to download on the web. I have a DV movie I imported into iMovie from my video camera, and exported it to my desktop as "movie.dv" (to retain the quality). The DV file is 1GB in size and I am trying to shrink it down to apple "movie trailer" quality. However, in iMovie when I try to "share' it to quicktime, the video quality blows hard - even the CD-ROM option turn the 5 minute movie into a 19 MB file that makes the video look crappy. I was able to export a really decent quality copy of it that was 50MB big, but it doesn't work on PC's - Probably because i have QT Pro 7? Does anyone know what are the best Quicktime Export settings similar to movie trailer quality that I can use to get this thing looking good? Thanks guys! |
