Good Camcorders for Macs W/O Firewire

Yes, I REALLY need some help. My mac has no firewire.... I want a good camcorder around 300-400 price range that has good quality and can use a baby death (or when using step ring, is close for small vig).) Sorry if I'm posting in wrong forum. Kind of a noob here.
