Dropping movies into iTunes

I have downloaded a couple movies and want to move them into iTunes. How do I get them into iTunes?

File > Add > find your movie. If it's an .avi file, it won't add the movie. Convert it to a .mov file.

i converted it to a .mov but i cant get it to drop into the "TV Shows" in iTunes.

When its in the Movie folder where movies get put by default, right click or Ctrl-click and goto get info. Once there click on options then down to the drop down menu where it say's Movie .... Change it to TV shows .... Viola it will be in TV shows
