ok i am using a macbook aliminium, and am tryin to burn a few short avi vids on to a a 4.7 gb ... 120minute dvd. the vids combined dont exceed 1gb but wen i pull them inito idvd aclick on burn i get this message......Your project exceeds the maximum content duration. To burn your DVD, change the encoder setting in the Project Info window..............however if i half the volume of vids it burns ?????? why ??? if the disc takes 4.7gb any ideas pls

i'll add to that i have also done wot its askin me let it encode them and it took ages but still sed the same even tho it showed 83 minutes to burn on disc im puzzled
