    Recommend a camcorder?
    Hey everyone,

Can anyone recommend an easy-to-use camcorder that lets you put the movies straight onto a Macbook with ease, using a sensible file format?

Most of the digital cameras are using some form of AVCHD which gets converted (to a sensible file format) when you hook up the camera. I think Panasonic makes a pro camera that encodes it content into a .MOV file allowing for drag and drop into Final Cut Pro. I'm not aware of a consumer camera that does that.
