I use iskysoft to convert my avi files because I like to watch them on my DVD player. However, there is always an audio lag when I convert using iskysoft...is there a program that will do it without the lag?

iSkysoft, Aimersoft and a number of other Chinese outfits produce a product all based on the same crummy engine and advertise it via spam on forums to drive their Google page rank. Given the unscrupulous behavior of these companies, if you paid them for the software, I would highly recommend you keep a close eye on the credit card statement you used for the transaction.

I use Roxio's excellent Toast for converting just about any video file over to DVD and it works great. It's not cheap, but well worth the money for the end result.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

See Best free Mac Video Converter - free download Video Converter for Mac Like Toast, the full version is not free, but certainly cheaper.
