    Converting FLV files
I have just purchased a MAC and am new to this but I have downloaded some videos from You tube but they appear as FLV files. Is there any free software recommended that will enable these videos to be played in Itunes or played on a normal DVD player

    Specs:
    MacBook Pro 17" Hi-Def/2GB RAM/250GB HD // iPhone 3Gs 16GB // iPod Classic 80GB
install VLC; it'll play them in QuickTime.

    Specs:
    2GHz Mac Mini 2GB RAM 160GB 10.6.2 | MDD DP 1.25GHz G4 1.5GB RAM 10.4.11 | 233MHz iMac G3 10.3.9
or install Perian to play them in QT; you'll need QT Pro to save them as .mov to move on to iTunes.
