    iMovie 09 will not download
Running an iMac running 10.5.8. Downloading video from a Panasonic SDR-H80P-K. It completes the task, but all clips are blank. Each clip shows the clip's length and the file is 3 gigs big so it downloaded. Why won't iMovie see the colored clips? I have downloaded the camera into another iMac with the same OS and iMovie 09 (8.0.4) and it worked perfectly. Any ideas?

I don't know. Make sure you have all the latest updates for iMovie and the iLife support updates first.

If you have other codec helpers installed, such as Perian, Flip4Mac, DiVX, etc, you might try un-installing them. That is a wild guess.

Look for any software differences between the two iMacs. Even a slight version difference may be the cause.
