    Unhappy electricity effect in iMovie HD
    I need help with using the electricity effect in iMovie HD, I don't want it fading in/out I just want to appear and disappear. Can someone please help me?

    I'm kind of guessing here since I don't want to mess with any of my projects.

    If you want the affect to apply to just a small portion of a clip, I think you'll need to split the clip and apply the affect to the new clip. Split twice if you want it somewhere in the middle. Then set the 'Effect In/Out' values to zero.
