My video cuts to just more than half when I import it to iMovie 09.

When I import video in to iMovie 09 it cuts it to just more than half and loses the second half. When I plug the camcorder in and view the video in Finder it is all there.
I'm running Mac Mini 2.0ghz
2gb ram
iMovie 09

Fixed. I just needed to copy them to my hard drive then import.
