Hi there,

I'm trying to digitize VHS-C Tapes ---> VHS-C - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia <---
onto my iMac! I have the adapter tape that they show on that site. Just wondering if anyone has done this before? Or has any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch!!!

Brad

Don't use Pinnacle dazzle. I just got one and the software it came with is terrible. I'm looking into something on Ebay, and it seems like I have a good chance at getting something waaay better and at a cheaper price.

I converted about a dozen VHS-C tapes using a Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro Stick (801e) and EyeTV software from Elgato. Elgato also sells tuners and a device (Elgato Video Capture) that is designed to do exactly what you want.

Personally, I'd go with a tuner since after you are finished, you'll be able to watch TV on your Mac.
