Hello. I am currently a PC user starting Uni doing an Audio Visual course and i don't have the first clue about what Mac i should get for home (saves me going all the way into uni). I have been a PC user all my life and don't know anything about the Mac world.

The sort of things i will be doing mainly include movie creation & editing and Audio editing and production.

If anyone could shed some light and recommend anything it would all be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

How intense/in depth will your video/audio production be? There is great software for both professional and casual production.

The more professional you are, the better the machine you are going to want.
