Hey guys,
New user here, i need some help with Final Cut 6. When i install it, it is meant to recognize that the computers hardware is not PowerPC, but Intel, and install that version, but for some reason it isnt. When I try and open it, as soon as i click the icon, i get the "unexpectedly quit window".
What can i do to make it run on my Intel system? Does this have to do with plug-ins?
Btw, im running the new iMac, with 4GB RAM, and 3.06 ghz processor, so my hardware isnt the problem...
QUOTE Thanks

As far as I know, FCP6 is a universal binary and installs for both PPC and Intel at the same time. So that shouldn't be a problem.

Is this a new install, or did it work before and now does not?

Open the in the Utilities folder and then try opening FCP6. Then search for further errors in the console log.

When asking questions, post the version of your software. You'll receive better answers.

Please post your results to the thread as it is good feedback.
