Hi everyone, I have a Sony Digital 8 Cam DCR-TRV238E

I got a cable and wanted to put some old tapes on my laptop, I went to sony site and found the model, no download for a mac (what is that all about)

Does anyone have any suggestions ??? I am sure their has to be a piece of software somewhere ?????

Thanks in advance Guys

Hi,

you don't need any specific software (from Sony). I have a old Digital8 camcorder and yours should work with iMovie. Just plug in a firewire cable (I'm assuming your mac has a firewire port).

I have a Sony digital camcorder and it works like a champ. Just hook it up.
