I have mobile phone .mp4 movies that I would like to convert to play on my DVD player.

My DVD player supports the 'xvid' format.

Anyone know of free software to convert my .mp4s to xvid?

Thanks

ffmpegx.com can convert to Xvid encoded AVI files

Download ffmpegX a DVD, SVCD, VCD, CVD, VOB, DivX, XviD, H.264, PSP, iPod, MP4, MOV encoder for Mac OSX

Read the download page carefully, you have to download the app, then 3 support files as well
