If in mirroring mode: I turn off overscan which results in leaving a very narrow band at the top and bottom of the screen. Some TV's will also have overscan setting adjustments available. I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth. In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
