hi i have just been given a mac book pro for xmas and i am trying to get my head around things...i hope somebody out there can help...i have managed to down load some films onto my mac and now i want to transfer them onto my ipod video ..can anyone help...the movies are currently in my mplayer...thanks Ja....:

you need an ipod video converter

ffmpegx ffmpegX a DVD, SVCD, VCD, CVD, VOB, DivX, XviD, H.264, PSP, iPod, MP4, MOV, FLV encoder for Mac OSX

It would also be wise to download Perian so that quicktime can deal with more video codecs
